Good question - The answer really depends on the girl and the situation......

IF it was me , I would acknowledge the feelings of the person and find a way to let them how I feel about it ...

BUT not everyone thinks/acts/feels the same way ... it may also depend if I was thinking or feeling the same way that BOY is or not

I would be pleased that he felt something other than friendship for me. If i liked him back and was not in a relationship, then we would become more than just friends . If it worked out then all good, if not then we tried..........but I'd make it sure that I would not like for this to spoil any friendship i had going with him in the first place. Some people are best as friends. Sex/Love can ruin friendships.

I had this boy as my best friend when i was 14. I told him that i fancied him and asked him out......To my horror he told me that he liked my classmate and he wanted to date her, not me! I don't think I ever got over the embarrassment of it. As for risking such a perfect friendship, well you live and learn.

You are handsome and she is very beautiful too, I think you'd make a lovely couple. But relationships do not come down to looks, it's what's on the inside. If you have a good heart and so does she then i can't see a reason for you to not make it. But i guess, before you ask her, make it clear to her, that if she says no that you can both move on and don't let it come between a perfectly good friendship. Keep us informed.
