Commview seems to be the only tool which is able to "snif" loopback packets, or does anyone know another product doing so?

Hey, seems, that this softperfect software could work -- but the program has to be paid and also the "Packet Sniffer SDK" costs quite a lot :-(

My other attempts failed so far...
- installing the MS virtual loopback adapter
- Wireshark
- MS Network Monitor
- etc.

But now I'm downloading the trial of SoftPerfect Network Protocol Analyzer...

Have tested all programs now, found also a nice freeware from nirsoft which is called socketsniffer. Not very comfortable but works without installation ;)

Anyhow, CommView seems to be the best sniffing tool (at least when loopback traffic must be observed), but costs a lot of money...
