Vista SP2 beta is out... stable version due early next year...
This seems a bit sudden, considering SP1 was released back in March.
By comparison:
XP SP1 was released 323 days (10 months, 19 days) after XP debuted.
XP SP2 was released 1020 days (2 years, 10 months and 16 days) after XP debuted, and 697 days (1 year, 10 months and 4 weeks) after SP1.
Vista SP1 was released 451 days (1 year, 2 months and 26 days) after Vista debuted
