Thread: PCSX2 PS2 Emulator

in the file menu at my pcsx2 emulator only have both 'Run CD/DVD' and 'Open ELF File' but didnt see 'Run ISO file'... what should i do??

my ps2 emulator still doesnt work ive got tonnes of plug-ins and bioses and roms but when i start the game up it freezes at the start menu. how can i sort this problem

Hi ppl.... Im new around here and a total noob when it comes to emulators of any sort.... so ive got a couple of queries for me to start up with pcsx2..
Ive got a laptop with following specs: C2D T6400 proccy 2.0GHz, nvidia 9600MGS, 4GB ram, so pls help me on how to set up pcsx2 for this specs; also could some one suggest good games that are playable at this config.... I was thinking maybe GOW 1 and 2 but would it run?? even in low res. would do..... Thnx in advance guys.....

Hi, new to the forums, was seeking help on a problem I've encountered playing games, I've played Ar tonelico 1 and 2, played Ar tonelico 1 without any problems, but during Ar tonelico 2 I had a problem with going to world map basically freezes my emulator, but I found a way to fix it by instead of using save states, I use the memory card saves and I can get to world map without freezing.. however on Mana Khemia that I just started, the very first dungeon/worldmap, It would freeze me even if I tried my method, does anyone know what this problem is? or if there is a solution to it? Thanks in advanced.

I have the most recent version of the ps2 emulator, and I'm wondering if those configurations would work with the most current ps2 emu out there.

My Grand Theft Auto games run at 50% speed, and Star Wars Battlefront and Ratchet and Clank games run at less than 8 fps out of 60.

My current configurations are:

GS: GSdx 4600 (MSVC 15.00, SSE2) 0.1.16 [gsdx-sse2-r-4600]
PAD: LilyPad svn (r4510) 0.10.0 [lilypad-r-4600]
SPU2: SPU2-X r4600m 1.4.0 [spu2-x-r600]
CDVD: cdvdGigaherz (r2361) 0.8.0 [cdvdGigaherz-r-3655]
USB: USBnull Driver 0.7.0 [USBnull]
FW: FWnull Driver 0.7.0 [FWnull]
DEV9: DEV9null Driver 0.5.0 [DEV9null]

I'm still afraid of changing my current configurations b/c the gameplay may be worse or something. I don't even know what my laptop's graphics card is or what it could handle.

Working game though:
-Disgaea 1 and 2 (full speed)
-Kingdom Hearts 1 (lags in battle)
