Sorry,I don't know anything because I don't use ESET NOD32.I use Norton Internet Security 2008.You can Install both if you have a good amount of RAM and a powerful processor.

the difference between nod32 antivirus and eset smart security is just about the package i think..
Eset smart security comes with antivirus+antispyware, personal firewall,and antispam
I use ESET Smart Security 3.0.621 Business Edition with TemDono fix (expired in 2050)
So i recommend you to get ESET Smart Security as it includes ESET NOD32 Antivirus system..And more integrated ;)

I always see on the web people are debating of these two antivirus KAV vs. NOD since these are the best system protection till now..
If i have to choose..Then I'll go with ESET NOD32 because of its simplicity, less consumption in system resource and detection level of threats..
Kaspersky see all "strange" things as a virus..And result of virus disinfection is far away i expected before..The "healed" file still can't be accessed though

since there have been latest ESET Smart Security 3.0.642, so it's better to install that...
don't worry, this fix works with that version...

Wrong, I don't think you can install both (I think the setup checks before), but if you could do it, then both will "fight" each other, since they aren't configured to run at the same time... That's why you never should have more than one AV, since it might use up all resources you have.
