1and1 doesn't have easy install for Wordpress. You gotta jump through hoops to install it and mysql. It's odd they have easy install for Joomla though.

Most web hosting companies have a 30-day or more refund policy. So you have to still dish out the bucks at the beginning. I was a Godaddy user for a long time but their servers have gotten really slow these past couple years and switched a few months ago to Bluehost.com.... OH my gosh it's night and day on so many levels. Loading one of my home pages would take 15+ seconds on godaddy.com, with bluehost.com my home pages download about a second. Anyway I'd just go with anyone else besides godaddy. I'm not a big fan of one & one either.

The most important part to running a webhsoting company is getting customers (the web hosting market is saturated) and you ave to offer extra festures and freebies to tempt the customers (i own a web hosting company) it can also get quite technical if you don't use managed servers not to mention the costs (advertising can cover the costs) if you want to know more feel free to msg me and i will reply

Web hosting is not so easy it needs team of experts. It needs variety of applications and functions. For the Web hosting company needs authority.

geraldela... I see you recommend TheWebPole.com more than once here. Are you affiliated with them? Something is not right with TheWebPole.com read...

Not sure I trust the above TheWebPole site..... interface looks a lot like godaddy and awful logo design that is not very professional. Just checked and both are located at the same address ( 14455 North Hayden Road, Suite 219, Scottsdale, AZ. 85260 USA ) and many pages have the same copy. Something is not right with the above site as it looks very amateurishly put together... could be a scam. It could be a ripoff and I'd avoid it. For a dollar more a month I'd recommend BlueHost.com trued and tried and rock solid.
