Enables the company to begin offering multiple web hosting platforms, including the popular cPanel and Plesk, to its customers.
Globat.com, a web hosting provider, today announced that it has acquired virtually all assets of California-based web hosting company Newista. Terms of the transaction were not disclosed.
The acquisition enables Globat.com to begin offering multiple web hosting platforms, including the popular cPanel and Plesk to its customers. It also strengthens the company's stronghold in the industry, and its growing visibility among more experienced web hosting consumers.
"Newista has been very successful in the hosting industry since 2003 and is known for intensely focusing on personalized customer service. Customer experience has also always been Globat's #1 priority. It was a natural fit. The combined strengths of both companies will allow us to offer an even wider range of web hosting choices along with nearly unprecedented customer care," said Globat's CEO Ben R. Neumann.
George Hubert, President of Newista.com, states, "We're extremely excited to become part of the Globat.com family. We're proud of our offerings and have long had a strong footing in the industry. Together with the reach and resources of Globat.com, we're going to get even stronger."
