You can get some for free! If you subscribe to 110mb.com you get 2gigs of space and 10 gigs of traffic. It supports perl, php mysql, asp, ... and you can activate sendmail for 5 dollars (one time payment). only downside is that your address will look like youraddress.110mb.com (e.g. [Only registered and activated users can see links. ]). Subscriptions will open again on 24th June.

I use hostgator baby croc which allows unlimited domains.

I have had experience with some lesser known web hosting services which were very cheap but kept crashing. One host (which shall remain nameless) I had was totally down for 2 weeks. So my advice would be to avoid the really cheap ones and the free ones, as you tend to get what you pay for.

about hostgator (hg), they say they are one large company. but when you google hostgator sucks, a dedicated web page appears up front. I think it's hostgatorsucks.com, which mostly focus on user negative comments. terrible negative experience I should say.

Currently, I'm hosted at blurstorm. for about 2 years now. What can I say. they admit their not that big, but most problem are sorted right away. there is only one major concern of mine. their spams are terrible. even with a guard, I got 3000 spams a day. imagine that. I don't enable "do not deliver" marked spam because I don't want to loose legit emails. One time I did, my spams went down from 3k to 3 a day. quite a relief but now, it's etting bigger again, with the "do not deliver" on, I get 10 - 20.

One thing I sure hope to find. is a cheap, I gues affordable is the word, coz' I'm willing to add an extra dollars for good service. Of course, there aren't perfect hosting services provider, but What I'm looking is the one manage by real people, I don't care if it is run by a 13 year old geek. As long as I know him, with proper name, not just Daniel P. , Julie V. or Ronald McD. well come on, a little professionalism since provider boast their quality host, why not show the team behind? I do not live in America, but If I do, I prefer walking them in the office. Don't care if it's small, don't even care if it's even home-office. But just to know you can depend on someone. for a longer business relationship. Cheap web hosting cmopanies IMHO don't earn a lot, but what could keep 'em up and running is good cost-cutting, and excellent support. if it crashes then someone can be called on the phone. people don't easily migrate providers, they stick to it. I guess the reason is hassle, and of course having to worry they'll end up like the present provider they are having problems with.

    What I seek:
Cpanel-linux shared on a reseller package. since I only do small-time websites. I don't have enough to spend for VPS or dedi servers.

And this is supposed to be helpful?

Basically, I have had experience in the past with APlus.NET, they're pretty good for shared hosting... Quite good in terms of disk space and bandwidth provided.
