I use free service from [Only registered and activated users can see links. ] as they never delete your statistics and allow monitoring any port you need. I've been using it over a year and it proved to be pretty reliable.

I also tried [Only registered and activated users can see links. ] but it started to send tons of false alerts one day so I had to cancel the account.

My other monitor has shown 101% uptime one day when I was watching my site with some other free service. I also like siteuptime.com
