That's it then, no GTA IV until next year. Rubbish!

‘Ultimate high definition game’ put on hold until April 2008.
Despite telling our gaming cohorts at CVG that they were “100 per cent on target”, for their October 19th release date, Take-Two has announced that GTA IV will not drop until April next year.
The shocking news broke last night, with the money men saying developers Rockstar simply need more time to get the massive game ready for release.
Rockstar main man Sam Houser issued a statement last night saying they want to deliver the ultimate next gen game. "The game is huge and is pushing the hardware platforms to their absolute limits. The top engineers from Sony and Microsoft are working closely with the team in Edinburgh right now, helping us to fully leverage the power of both platforms. As always, our goal is to surpass even the wildest expectations of the game's fans.”
Apparently, it was all getting too ‘time intensive’. A fair shout, but we’re absolutely gutted that we’re going to have to wait another six months to maraud around the streets of Liberty City, stolen gun in hand.
