Console sales in Japan the week from the 19 to the 25 of February,
Nintendo DS conserves the leadership in spite of the fort PSP impulse.
Average Create has distributed the data of console sales in Japan corresponding to the week from the 19 to the 25 of February, period during which portable Nintendo DS Lite continues being the leader of the market.
PSP has shown to a fort impulse in their sales, surpassing the 100,000 sold consoles, thanks to the launching of Monster Hunter Freedom 2, title that has surpassed the 700,000 units sold in its week of launching.
Due to the increase of the PSP sales, Wii has happened to the third place, with sales clearly superior to those of PlayStation 3, just behind the console of Nintendo in the table. Thus, Wii already has accumulated sales from its launching of 1.665.245 units as opposed to 676,103 of PlayStation 3. Xbox 360 is located behind the sales of the veteran PlayStation 2, surpassing 4,000 sold consoles.

Impressive DS and Wii sales as always, Japan is turning in to Nintendo land. PS3 falling even more as VF5 couldn't save it. 360 basically out of it as expected.
I think that Nintendo will return to his Gold Ages like before ... the PS3 have too maby Bugs and it is too complicated for programmers .. + hight price
