P990i faild to Update

hi guys i got prob.. when my phone p990i keep restarting. and i try to update the software. i cant update it, it says USB NOT RECOGNIZE. even i install the flash player and follow the instruction, nothinh happen, it always say USB NOT RECOGNIZE. help guyz..
