LongCuts is a UIQ 3 utility which binds launching of applications to predefined hotkeys.

Instructions
Start LongCuts. You will be presented with a list of applications. Scroll to the app of your choice. With the selection bar over the app name, press and hold your chosen hotkey on the qwerty keypad for a second or two. When binding is complete the application name will dim and the defined key will appear next to it. With LongCuts running in the background and the phone in Standby mode, pressing the defined hotkey at any time will invoke the desired app.
LongCuts should be signed with you own certificate.

Version 0.7

* Time limit is removed.


Version 0.6

* Autostart option is added to LongCuts. It is enabled with corresponding checkbox in the Options dialog.


Version 0.5

* Restored the possibility to use Alt and Shift in shortcuts. You can even use Alt+Shift+Key combinations.
* Options panel is added. The following 2 options are available:
Use incremental search. Enables/disables incremental matching in applicaion list.
Enable LongCuts when key lock is active . Enables/disables LongCuts reaction when key lock is active.
* Fixed some problems with shortcuts on Standby screen.

* Fixed various problems with text entry. Both keypad entry problems on Standby screen and HWR entry problems in other applications.
* Fixed the problem with shortcuts on Standby screen. Now it works without holding Alt.
* Had to refuse from usage of Alt+key and Shift+key combinations for shortcuts.
* Fixed the problem with Unbind command being invisible on p990.
* Added new command Refresh app list.

Version 0.4 is not compatible with previous versions' configuration files. So you have to run Unbind All prior to install or uninstall previous version of Longcuts.

Version 0.3

* "Unbind" command was moved from "More" command group to central soft key position.
* "Exit" command was moved to the bottom of "More" command group.
* Confirmation request was added for "Unbind All" command.


Version 0.2

* LongCuts is marked as system app. This should prevent the LongCuts from being closed by the sytem on low memory.
* Application ID (UID) of the LongCuts was changed. Because of this version 0.2 is not compatible with 0.1 and older version should be uninstalled before proceeding with upgrade. This was done to avoid potential problems in future.
