Enhance your P990/M600/W950/Z8 standby screen functionality to match the new P1i with these applications

These softwares are tested on my P990i and are working great and fully functional...

Linkboy

LinkBoy provides up to 15 shortcuts to frequently used tasks, that can be optionally displayed on the standby screen. Shortcuts are available for the full range of applications, phone settings, multimedia files, web pages, contact actions, and common tasks. All functions of the built-in standby screen are left intact by LinkBoy. While it is most useful on the P990, LinkBoy can also be used on Z8, Z10, P1, M600, W950 and W960 phones.

Major features:

Up to 15 customizable shortcuts that can be displayed on the standby screen (SonyEricsson phones only).
Customizable position and arrangement of shortcuts.
Supported shortcut types include installed applications, Control panel settings, all multimedia file types, and web pages.
Shortcuts available for communications with individual contacts (like sending MMS to Jane Doe).
Shortcuts can be set for adding new entries for major built-in applications, like Calendar, Notes, Sound recorder, and more.
Shortcut icons can be replaced with custom images, including BMP, GIF, JPG, PNG, SVG.
Captions for shortcuts are customizable.
Adjustable transparency setting for the icon panel.
All standby functions are preserved, including display of operator, area message, media player and timer.

Ballroom

BallRoom provides a unique way of customizing your phone's appearance and function by taking over the upper-left corner of the screen, where normally an idle application icon is shown. BallRoom divides the icon area to two independent parts where you can display various dynamic contents, including time, animated image, and much more. By touching the icon area you can perform various actions. By using BallRoom you can make your phone a more informative and entertaining spectacle.

Major features:

Replaces the icon area for all non-fullscreen applications.
Selectable display contents include time, date, free memory, battery level, and image.
Selectable actions on touching the icon include task management and status message.
Separate content and action for icon regions.

Linkboy is an new release of celphone soft so keygen is not yet available.. but the application is fully functional already and there is no absolutely period of usage.. i dont find any use of registering the product..

Poblog, just right click the attached file on this thread, choose "save as" and specify where on your pc the files will be saved after the download. when the download is complete just un zip the file, now you should have a connection between your phone and your pc ( a card reader perhaps or your usb cable ) and simply paste the unzipped files on the folder named "other " in your memory stick.. insert the memory card back in your phone or remove your usb connection. go to the file manager in your phone, choose the folder "other" and you'll see the files you have saved. tap it once and the installation will automatically starts on your phone, install the two files (ballroom and linkboy)... the installed application will be placed at the "tools" category in your P990i

When it comes to locking your phone there is two utility software that I recomend the most..

Best Crpto and Webgate Advanced Device Lock

with Best Cryto you can protect your private photos, voice and sound files, videos, confidential documents - just any kind of files on your smartphone!
