I got the same problem as ivor1207. but before that, I still cant get the tomtom inmy p990. i did all the steps and still doesnt get installed. no icons appear after installation. plus i get 2 tomtom navigator sis on the install pane.

where is the root of my pro duo? i just drag the folder onto the memory card icon. that takes it to the root right? just like the dcim is also a root folder right? or is the root something else? i'm using a card reader because i'm a mac user.
