I want to be able to record phone calls on a phone. I need the recordings to be perfect, and there needs to be no indication that the call is beeing recorded, such as the recurring beep.
I have tried a nokia 5800 with various recording software. CallRecorder, Ultimate Voice Recorder and Xelnex managed to remove the beep, but the recording was choppy. Parts of the recording was missing, as if the device was not fast enough to both record and fix the beep thingy. I also tried a patch called No Record Tone with ROMPatcher. This worked but there was residue in the form of a double-tick-sound where the beep used to be. My question is: What combo of phone, app ( and possibly patch/hack ), can give me perfect recording with no beep? |

The easiest and best way to record OUTGOING calls WITHOUT any special hardware or software is the Stealth Recorder Card. Do a search.
If you need to record INCOMING calls then follow the link at that site. The recordings are crystal clear. The NY state AG used the Call Recorder Card to get a conviction in a grand larceny case. |

According to Samsung, the Omnia i900 does not beep during recordings. It is an expensive device. Mabe there is some cheaper symbian alternative.

I had a N95 8GB and could not find one software that would not beep. I tried and the phone still has Ultimate VR. Records well, but does beep only once at the start of the phone call.
Traded to an Omnia with Resco Audio Recorder - nil beep, excellent recording quality - flawless in every way!! Software for Pocket PC's appears to be much better and actually does the job it's supposed to. N95 still a nice phone, but hooked on the Omnia - won't look back now!! ![]() |
