Default Garmin XT install problem...going crazy

    Hy guys,

Sorry for making a new thread about this, but i'm desperate...I read everything I could about this, and still, I can;t get it done.

I'm trying to install Garmin XT on my Nokia E71 phone, and I ALWAYS get this damn error "can't unlock maps for garmin device....bla bla bla". I really like this phone and I already wanted to smash it twice, so please help me out here before it's too late...

I tried with 5 different versions of Garmin XT, 3 keygen versions, and the error is the same...i must be retarded.

    This is how I do:

    1. Install the Garmin XT on my phone (tried with or without deleting the .xml file)

    2. Get the Card ID from setup/about (it's always the same number...)

    3. Copy/paste the ID to all kinds of keygenerators, then copy/paste the code to a .txt file, and them transformed it to SW.UNL (always checked if there is a .txt extension at the end of the file, and if so, always deleting it.)

    4. Restarted the Garmin XT, and or, restarting the phone (for about a million times)

    5. The same bloody error....

    What am I doing wrong???

From all the tutorials I saw, this seems to be the easy part, and I can't even get over this one...

Sorry for my English, it's not my native language.

    Thx in advance!!!

But it says to put the files from the rar in my C:\garmin....I don't have it installed on my PC...am I missing something?

    Later edit:

I installed RO.A.D 2006 on my pc, that contains the map of my country. I unlocked it. Where exactly do I put this, on my phone?

How are you installing the Garmin maps?
    Are you using MapSource?
You need to unlock the maps in MapSource before sending them to your phone.

Yes, I am using MapSource. I managed to transfer the maps to my phone, and now, of course I have another problem...The GPS does not connect...should I turn on the bluetooth? I already selected the "build in GPS"...
