Thread: Sign and Install Unsigned Applications Without a PC

I still like this more: [Only registered and activated users can see links. ] even though I used this method before, on my Nokia E65 2.0633.65.01 . Now I copied the installserver.exe file and it's far more easier, but some might prefer signing, this is my opinion. Sorry, MSSA

It worked for me!! but I din do the step 8(00000001 thing) still works..It selfsigns but not signs.

ThemeDIY: I think you asking abt increasing the templates(default 12 templates)..these templates has lots of components like .mif,.mbm,.rsc etc files and some additional icons,backgrounds..so its hard to increase templates by me..

i got the darkkarious should I uninstall them all before that, and does it work on 6120c?

I never heard of anyone using HelloCarbide only to install the OPDA or BiNPDA root certificate. (without involving CProfDriver_SISX.Idd or SecMan for that matter.) If you have, please give me a link. What was your way of doing it ?

I also preferred installserver.exe hack earlier, but it resulted in installing me some uncompatible apps which were impossible for me to uninstall(bad education) without a hard reset. Since then, just to be on the safer side of the hack, I am using this method.

If you are talking about the mobile app, and you have installserver.exe in C:\SYS\BIN, then you can remove it from there temporarily using CapsOFF or use the app InstallserverOnOff to turn it OFF. Then, you can test and report if this method works on your 6120c or not, because I don't know if it will work or not.
If you are talking about pc soft, then sorry mate..I don't have a pc and don't know about Drakkarious and its components. I think, Marius or some else , must join in here.

When I use the cr@cked installserver.exe I can install whatever app I want, so no need for root certificates.. Thats the way I meant, but you might understood it in a different way.

@Toja92, I thought you meant that you used my method of signing prior to using installserver.exe hack . Hence, I asked for a link, because I am still searching to find whether this stuff has been posted before or not without any success.

@malarmannan, I am afraid it won't work without the authentication file. Did you try to install your self-signed application. It gives an error "unable to install a protected application from an untrusted supplier" or like that. If it installs fine for you, see if you have installserver.exe in c:\sys\bin turned ON.

It installs!! I recently crashed my N73. did a hard reset, so there s no installserver.exe

I've not even turn my Plat sec. OFF.. just installed the mobile signer and it works!!

What app did you sign and install in this way? Which methods have you used (before trying this method) to hack your phone earlier? Name all methods. What hacks are present in your phone at this moment? How could have you turned Plat. security Off ?(coz, after finishing my method, you can't turn off plat. security.)

I'm currently using secman to turn plat. sec on/off...
before formating also the same secman..
for non Binpda and older binpda releases i use rootsign in my comp..
i signed gnubox application using mobile signer..i did nothing with plat sec.on/off..
jus installed the MSigner selected the cer. key. and sis file. and clicked selfsign.. that s it..

jus now tried another unsigned app...it signs but fails to install..you are right i sud keep the 00000001 file in C:\RESOURCE\swicertstore\dat\00000001
