ive had this problem, tried winzip and winrar on my xp and vista partitions. Dont know what these people are using to compress their files but it causes issues.

The way I solved it is to rename the files from a .zip to .rar, then when it extracts the file add the .rar extension to it. It will then decompress ok.

For people who have N95 8 GB, could you tell me where the software GMXT is installed ? in the storage memory or in the phone memory ? for me, it is automatically installed in the internal phone memory.

I've tested the software with 3 diffrent kinds of maps, City navigator, Bluechart and a outdoor swedish hiking map called friluftskartan. They are all working more than well with the application. If u install more than 1 map go in under tools--->maps---->mapselection and choose mapsource, then u can activate the map that u want to use. And i had some problems to get the gps to show my exact position,the app showed me 1 km from were I really was. I solved that problem by choosing Use connected gps and not external gps.

Does anyone know where i can download US maps without having to go through a whole bunch of spams? I've downloaded the Garmin.Mapsource.US.Topo.(2008)-CFE but the damn program makes you go through spams before you can insatll the map.
