    Default OBDScope v0.20 (S60V3 & V5)

    OBDScope is a vehicle On-Board diagnostics software for S60 smartphones (3rd and 5th editions). It can be used with an ELM chip based Bluetooth OBD adapter. This is a hobby project and the software is freeware.

    Key features

    * Read Diagnostic Trouble Codes (DTC:s)
    * Clear DTC:s and Check Engine Light
    * Save diagnostic reports
    * Open previously saved diagnostic reports
    * Send list of detected DTC:s via SMS
    * Read live data, available in form of a gauge
    * Log data to a .csv file
    * Command Bluetooth OBD adapter with AT commands

    How does it work?

    The software can be installed on latest models of Nokia S60 smartphones. 3th and 5th editions of the S60 platform are supported. The software uses Bluetooth to connect to an OBD-II adapter which is connected to a vehicle. The software then uses the OBD-II adapter to access the data available on the ECU of the vehicle. The data can be monitored in real-time or it can be logged to a file for further analysis.

    The data includes:

    * Engine RPM
    * Vehicle speed
    * Engine Coolant Temperature
    * Fuel Economy
    * OBD Port Voltage
    * and lots more

    Examples of supported OBD-II adapters:

    * ELM327 Bluetooth OBD-II Wireless Transceiver Dongle
    * OBDKey Bluetooth

    Basically any OBD-II Bluetooth adapter with ELM chip will do. Just type 'OBD Bluetooth' on eBay search.

    Latest version: 0.20
    OBDScope_020_unsigned.sis (Released on Aug 28th 2009 - This version expires on April 1st 2010.)
    What's new on this version:

    * New gauge: Fuel Economy
    * New gauge: OBD-II Port Voltage
    * Gauge improvement: Lambda value can be viewed while reading Oxygen sensor
    * Data logging improvement: Data to be logged can now be selected from a list of data items
