Phone Remote Control Requirements

To use Phone Remote Control you need a Bluetooth or WiFi equipped PC and a Bluetooth or WiFi Java MIDP2.0 mobile phone.
Requirements for Windows
Phone Remote Control supports all Bluetooth solutions on the PC, and Windows 98, 2000, XP and Vista. The program supports the three biggest solutions Microsoft, Widcomm/Broadcom and Toshiba direct out of the box. So no need for user configuration! All others are supported via COM port access:

* Microsoft Bluetooth solution
* Widcomm Bluetooth solution
* Toshiba Bluetooth solution (COM port automatically detected)
* BlueSoleil Bluetooth solution (easy step-by-step guide to set correct COM port)

All WiFi solutions are supported
Requirements for mobile phones

* Java MIDP2.0 support (Almost all phones released since 2005 )
* Bluetooth (with Java JSR-82) or WiFi support

A very big amount of mobile phones are released each year. It is impossible to keep a updated list of supported phones. But if the phone is released after 2005 with Bluetooth or WiFi it should be supported independent of it is from Nokia, Samsung, LG, SonyEricsson, Motorola, BlackBerry or other phone manufactures.

* IPhone do not support Java MIDP2.0 and is not supported
