    ... when a call comes in, to disable the green key (and to stop the centre-button from showing 'answer/reject' when pressed) until the slider's opened ?

    It's just inconvenient to inadvertantly answer a call when getting it out of your pocket and the green button's accidentally pressed.

    maybe try MagicKey and remap the key
    [Only registered and activated users can see links. ]

    Nice suggestion, but remapping 'Select' and green would be a bit too drastic.
