I would like to keep the Tektronic digital clock running on my N95's desktop all the time, while letting me switch to other uses whenever a need arises.
Is the a way configuring the the cellurar this way?

unfortunately you can't do this ; you have to get it as a theme wallpaper to be shown all the time, and even in this case it won't be useful, because it won't show the correct time.

Too bad. Is there any other application which provides this functionality?

if u only need time to be always shown, then u can try Timebar, or pyBeeper or pyBattery (they let u choose fonts, colors n sizes of the time displayed)

    The available TiimeBar is obselete.
Where can I find the other alternatives (pyBeeper or pyBattery )?
