Thumbs up Ryder Cup 2006 !!

Any of you like golf ? I love it ! On the 21st Sept the Ryder Cup kicks off at the K Club, Ireland. As per normal its Europe v USA !!

who do you think will win this year ? I'm backing Europe to win (of course !)

Although Tiger Woods, Phil Mickleson are playing very very well so will have to watch them ! apart from the USA team is pretty avaerage this year.

For Europe Luke Donald, Monty, Segio Garcia, Paul casey, Lee Westwood are all playing well ! so lets hope they can take it to the americans !

Come on Europe !!

Default Europe 18 1/2 - USA 9 1/2

Europe absolutely thrash the USA in the 36th ryder cup Europe 18 1/2 - USA 9 1/2

the star of the show was Darren Clarke who was in tears at the end, 'well done big man', he deserves the glory after his tough time

Europe captain Ian woosnam has devoted the win Darrens wife Heather who died from cancer 1 month ago

Tom Lehman stated that the USA team were just not a proper 'team' like the Europeans were and they lacked drive and belief.

Sweden's Henrik Stenson robbed Darren Clarke of a fairytale ending but home fans were still in raptures as Europe strolled to a 18½-9½ victory over America in the 36th Ryder Cup at the K Club.

Europe led 10-6 going into the singles after winning each of the first four sessions 2½-1½, and triumphed in eight matches and halved one to equal the record score of Oakland Hills two years ago.

Stenson's win over fellow rookie Vaughn Taylor on the 15th took Europe to 15 points, half a point more than they needed to ensure they lifted the cup for an unprecedented third straight time.

Captain Ian Woosnam had sent Northern Ireland's Clarke out in the seventh match with a view to him possibly holing the decisive putt and completing a remarkable comeback from personal tragedy.
