Burning image files using ImgBurn
OK, on this page we will learn the exact steps to actually burn your image file using ImgBurn.
First, you will want to hit
Mode, and make sure
Write is selected. Alternatively you can use the hotkey which is
Ctrl+Alt+W.
The next step is equally as simple. Hit the
Browse for file... button and you will be greeted by a new screen where you can search for your image file.
Navigate to your image file and hit
Open to select it. My demo image file is small so I will be burning it to a blank CD-R. Insert the disc you are using and the program should verify it. If it doesn't, make sure your
Destination drive is correct and if it isn't, then select the correct drive or place the blank media in the correct drive
Finally, you will want to change the the
Write Speed to whatever you see fit. For my drive, which is maximum 24x for CDs, I normally select 16x, but its your choice if you want slower or faster write speed. When all that is done, hit the large Write button (as seen at write) and let the program go to work.
Once its done, your disc will eject and you will have your image file burnt to disc at your disposal
