I have seen on TV commercials that there is a radar to let you know who's mobile phones are around you. Has anyone used this app?

I'm not a phone Tech and the only way I can think of this working is if your phone measures the signal of the surrounding phone's blue tooth and then guestimating a distance and just plotting it on a radial type of radar screen?

Is it just an animated theme or does it actually work?

you would need two receivers in order to get the location of a source in 2 dimensional screen

It's one of those stupid ads. It's just a screensaver with a radar on it and it comes free with a mosquito ringtone which can be really annoying. It's a waste of money- probably like £3 for it and then i saw that it subscribes you and takes off like £12 of your credit per week. If you are thinking of getting it, don't bother.

i guess there is no such thing. Even if there is, the radar wont work like a very good ones. Unless u have super huge anthena or something that can actually project radiowaves at a fast rate. so i dun think it is possible..

i don't think that type software is available for cell phones they need antenna and also dedictors to find

thers is some but works over the blutetooth, it tells you how many phones are near bot only those who has the bluetooth activated of course

Its just a cheap looking screensaver. Plus once u've downloaded it they will just keep sending you stuff and charging you for it, just one big scam.
