I have a question..Can you use memory stick duo PRO (i.e. 1GB) on this phone? The original mem card is simple Duo. A friend of mine bought a PRO model on a k750i and it didn`t work.

yes you can.. you have to format the pro duo first before using..ask the seller of the memry stick if you can try the the item first before buying..some memry sticks are choosy with the phones..

i have 1gb on my p990i and it works perfect. i am planing to buy 2 gb so you can use 1gb without any problems

off course you can use memory stick duo pro. coz that MSDP is development from MSD.
i use MS duo pro 1 gb for my k750i. n it works fine

If you read your owners manual and also check SE's website. It clearly states support up to 4GB.

I got a 4 gig in my one,its good - was thinking about 8 gig if only the phone was less sluggish or faster to play mp3's
