Does anyone know how to install Root Certificates in k800i?
I have created a fake root certificate which I need to install on my k800i, so I can create signed .jad files for some of the .jar files I have. I have tested the certificate on my computer, and it is working. But when I download it to the phone it doesn't get installed ![]() |

Why do you need to create .jad files? You can install any program on you phone using just the .jar file.

By installing my own fake root certificate, I should be able to sign the jar files, using the key I made for the fake certificate, and generate signed .jad files.. |

You can do that by sending the certificate files (.ca or .cer) files to your phone, if you cannot transfer it directly, you should create your own webserver. I never tried this before but i've read some article about how to do this.

Hello, my name is Katrokndeso.
Meanwhile, there is a very enthusiastic war in this link; [Only Registered users can see links . Click Here To Register...] I also giving some tips in there. One of the problem discussed there is about the signed .jad mobyexplorer which corresponds to the .jar file. The type of certificate used is Verisign secure. I understood. I can create .jad file with the certification code inside. But I can't match with the corresponding .jar file, even the file link is correct and the META-INF information has matched. I think the way of compressing signed .jar file with its certificate is the matter. Anyone know the solution? |
