My New Sony Ericsson Z550i died. I went to local service center. they said i need to flash the firmware again. Can any ony tell me where i can get this firmware also the software that need to flash my z550i. HELP ME PLZ :'(

When you say Died can you give us more details, If the Phone can be flashed it can't have died completely...

What works and what does not work?

You can find Information on Flashing you phone on this forum but I would not suggest doing it cause the equipment will cost you more than your phone and finding the latest firmware can prove problematic cause it's not really to be distributed...

Your Service Centre should really replace your phone unless you told them you dropped it in the toilet... The other option is to find a back street shop that will flash your phone for you, I think it costs around £5 in the U.K. but maybe those shops arn't available where you are loctaed...

if you have the cable then download the "update service" program from the sony ericsson web site setup it - to feel more comfortable setup the PC suit too- (u should hve flash player) .
1. open the "update service" (UPSE) and wait tell the program works.
2. select ur language.
3.select the type of your charger/cable hall (if its the right word )
4. fellow the instruction's.
5. i think that's all << so no need for point 5.

you will get the latest frimware (software)

if it show to you that you all ready have the last software then press on continue.
