tks a lot... it seems really useful all this info...

one question, does it actually work with all memory cards, like cameras memory cards? cos I got a 1gb sandisk and thought it would be really cool make it become into 2 gb....

anyone?

fiddling with memory allocation partitions in memory cards can cause you dead and un usuable memory sticks/ cards. Its wise to do this only when you are ready to let go of your memory card anytime. Again - BACK UP your files and get ready to shell out a few bucks for a new card first before attempting these procedure. Just my 1 cent.

TRY IF YOU WISH BUT TAKE RESPONSIBILITY FOR YOUR ACTIONS!!!

I suggest we buy 1GB or even 2GB memory stick/card. It's cheaper now, specially those coming from Taiwan and China. Although these were branded as lower class, however, it's more safe than tweaking the 512MB into 1GB memory stick for your expensive mobile phone.

Or you could just buy a phone that has a memory card bundled with it- my k800i was bundled with an M2 memory card for only £80 (trade in old phone £10 off but top up £10)

The SD cards is only UP to 2 gb, but the new SDHC (Secure Digital High Capacity) could possibly be 32 gb or might (don't know) 64 gb. One thing I know is the SDHC is in 4 gb now, but no sony ericsson phone supports it (I think. )

I knew that before
You can also just format the disk using FAT32 by right clicking on the disc icon in my computer
