SE P991i Alarm Problem
Hi guys,
Yesterday (30 May 2007), I upgraded my SE P990i to level CXC162037 R9F011 tru SE Update Service tool. The upgrade comes out OK, however the sound of my alarm clock becomes low & weak and it could not wake me up in the morning. I installed Handy Clock taken from this site and it also turned out with the same result. I asked some of my friends here in my office with P990i and they too have the same problem. Is there something wrong with the upgrade ... What should I do now ... I'm living here in the Philippines (Manila) ..... Please help ... Thanks! if u cant find mean u have to do some hard format at those shop.. if u diy, do at ur own risk mate

Guys,
Latest firmware R9F011for SE P990i has really affected the alarm feature of the smartphone. Thru the research I made, some forum recommended to wait for the new release of the firmware since this problem was already noted by Sonny Ericsson. The workaround they suggested is to temporarily use the short ringtone available on the smartphone. I choose, Cosmic.mp3 as my new ringtone and it works OK for me until I got thenew firmware. Thanks to SEPHYROZEMARIA for leading me to this tenporary solution. cabanerofr
