[Windows CE 6.0] Garmin Mobile XT v5.00.30w ASN

Hi, maybe experts can help find me answer below questions:

1. Is there an English version for Garmin Mobile XT v5.00.30w ASN? If yes, where can I download?
2. Can I still apply the "No Unlock ID" patch from Garmin Mobile XT v5.00.30w ASN?

I have installed the software and also applied the "No Unlock ID" patch from Garmin Mobile XT v5.00.30w ASN. When I started up the software, the Garmin Mobile XT message came up and asked me to "insert the Garmin Mobile XT SD card and re-start the software". I am using the China PND. Any body has idea how to solve it? Thanks

Garmin Mobile XT v5.00.30w ASN might not be compatible with your China PND. Try a different Garmin Mobile XT version (ie. v5.00.20w for WinCE6 or v5.00.10w for WinCE5) until you are able to load the Garmin software properly.

Thanks for your reply. I have tried v5.00.20w for WinCE6. When I started up the GPS, it gives me 4 options:
[Only registered and activated users can see links. ]

1. Purchase & Go!
2. Begin Free Trail
3. Enter Product Key
4. Connect to a Garmion GPS
For Options 1 to 3, it will attempt to connect the Garmin Websit.

Then I select Option 4,
The screen showed the message of "Before you can start using navigation and Garmin Online services, you will first need to connect to your Garmin GPS receiver. Please make sure your GPS device is powered on and has a clear view of the sky." The PND seems to be scanning for a GPS receiver

On the background of the GPS receiver scanning screen, there is Garmin main manual screen whenever I press the toolbar button but it will flash back to the GPS receiver scanning screen within a second or less. Hence, there is no way I can view and SD ID code for JM KG.

please note that below procedure is very important:
- click on "Begin Free Trial" and just cancel it. Then you'll see 4 options (Purchase & Go!, Begin Free Trial, Enter Product Key and Connect to a Garmin GPS), click on Connect to a Garmin GPS. Then it will try to search for a GPS device. Cancel any requests for a GPS unit as this will not work until you have unlocked the software.

note: you must first cancel the GPS receiver scanning screen in order for you to properly get back to Garmin main manual screen.

- Then follow remaining steps (ie. Download JetMouse's кεygεn) given by catymag.

Thanks for your speedy reply. The problem here is that there seems to be no way to cancel the GPS scanning screen except to power if off. This is the reason why I am stuck. I will try one more time tonight and confirm it.

I cannot use the Garmin Mobile XT v5.00.30w ASN for Windows CE 6.0. It will ask me to insert the Garmin Mobile XT SD. I will take a picture to show you what I got. Currently, I am attempting to install Garmin Mobile XT v5.00.20w for Windows CE 6.0. I will feedback how I get on.

I think you should find a way on how to hide the taskbar while Garmin Mobile XT is running. The "Cancel" button is located at the lower left corner of the screen.. looks like it's been overlapped by the taskbar.

If you could get to the WinCE6 core, try checking the "auto-hide the taskbar" or uncheck "keep the taskbar on top of other windows".. see if it helps.
