Thread: Garmin Mobile XT for WindowsMobile V4.20.20wp

I have downloaded this app, but I am interested in knowing if you have to have a Garmin GPS reciever in order for this to work. Or will it work on a Loox N560 with built in GPS?

I have tried the 5.20 version and it tells me that it can only connect with a Garmin GPS.

After much trial and error I finally was able to install the Garmin Mobile XT software successfully to my Axim X51V. It is very important when loading to an SD card that you either install the software using the Garmin setup files or through active sync on a ppc.

If all is done correctly you will not see the 4 option screen when you activate the software. It will go directly to the safety message screen for you to agree or disagree.

The install directions that accompany the download are excellent, be sure to follow them.
