    • Armadillos are also the only other animal which can contract leprosy.
    • Mosquitoes are attracted to the color blue twice as much as any other colour.
    • Koalas are teh only animals besides humans and other primates that have fingerprints.
    • Just like there are carnivorous plants, there are carnivorous sponges, which trap passing prey with tentacles and engulf them, eventually digesting them. As with carnivory in plants, the sponges resort to this method in environments where their primary nutrient source (particulat matter filtered from the water) is not availible in sufficient quantities.
    • Everest is not the highest Mountain, K2 is higher. By about 30 feet I believe.
