Does Darkness Exist?

What exactly is darkness? Does darkness really exist?

Science answers the questions like this. First we answer the question does darkness really exist? The scientific answer is that darkness does not exist. Darkness is simply the absence of light. Light we can study, darkness we cannot. Darkness cannot be measured; light on the other hand can be measured. How can we tell how dark a certain space is? We measure the amount of light. A simple ray of light can break through darkness and illuminate it.

Thus science answer the first question what is darkness? Darkness is simply the absence of light.

Surely Scientists must apply the logic, "if darkness is the abscence of light" then it must exist, as half of the world is in darkness, all the time, (discounting electric light etc, etc.). Thanx for the info Mtechfan.

I dont think it does exist, you turn the light on to get a picture of it , and it disappears . . . you use a flash . . . bie bie darkness. .

so therefore , no, darkness is a lie

What anout the dark matter... Black hole creates a field with total absence of light(gravity field is so strong that ecen photons are dragged into it), even when it's illuminated...
