58 countries vie for foreign Oscar
Los Angeles, Oct 26: A record 58 countries from four continents have submitted movies for consideration for next year's Oscars in the foreign language film award category.
 The entries include first-ever submissions from Iraq, Costa Rica and Fiji. The academy invited 91 countries to present films for consideration in the competition. Spanish drama "The Sea Inside", starring Javier Bardem, won the 2005 best foreign film Oscar. The 2006 [Only Registered users can see links .
