This is more research done on the reported T. rex soft tissue remnants recovered from a fossil found in Montana. This new research supports what is now an old theory, that birds are descended from dinosaurs.

Click Here To Register...] While the theory has always been that birds descended from dinosaurs, they were a specific group of dinosaurs, the Theropods. Modern cladistics further groups the Tyrannosauridae as descended from theropods through the Tetanurae and the Coelurosauria. Birds are descended from the Coelurosauria through the Maniraptora and Avialae.
