Thread: How To Transfer Games By Datacable & Possibly Irda, x100, x600, s500, e100, e700 and

This will work with a serial,usb and possibly IRDA

this is one way of bypassing the max java file size of 100kb, so you can have some of the better games like splinter cell and all the levels which is 128kb, works brill on my e700.

First up, you need to create a new network connection as shown in the diagrams below:



















it will now ask you to specify who has privileges, select who you like but make sure you select yourself and administrator

Once the connection has been created, right click on it and ensure that the COM Port tick box is ticked, then in the "users" tab ensure that "allow Palmtop computers to connect without a password" is also ticked.

Then you need to download the uploader(you can find it in this section)

After this, enter the code to enable Serial Java download - #*536963#
It should display something like "serial enable, others disable"



Then enter the code #*5737425# and select *once* option 1, "PPP UP" (only once, otherwise the phone will reset) . The screen should flash white for maybe 1/2 a second.

start the uploader and browse to the games you want select the jads

Finallly select option 2 "Serial Download" from the #*5737425# menu and the download should begin

works for me 100%, took me a while to get there, trial and error at first...

but it works great!

No problems now transferring games at will via USB cable connection on XP and e700.

You will find:

1. Some games work perfectly
2. Some games work but controls / screen size / stability not perfect
3. Some games will fail when loading
4. Some games will fail to transfer

Provided you have a connection icon in the taskbar and use the right sequence of:

a) Plug USB Cable into computer and phone into cable so COM5 appears in network setup screen.
Setup network as per previous instructions.
c) Use the serial enable code and ppp up once (before loading uploader)
d) Run uploader (should have a connection icon by this stage - if not no point in trying transfers... fix connection error first)
e) If connected transfer 1 game at a time (some will fail to transfer and some will transfer and not work properly, and some will work just fine)

- BEST TO NOT DISCONNECT THE PHONE DURING A SESSION OF TESTING GAMES. IF THINGS GET MESSED UP TRY PPP UP AGAIN UNTIL PHONE RESETS AND DO THINGS IN ORDER AGAIN.

- REMEMBER TO DISCONNECT AND UNTICK THE CONNECTION WHEN FINISHED SO NORMAL SAMSUNG PHONE SOFTWARE WORKS AGAIN.

First you must have irda and i installed IrCOMM2k-1.2.1-eng (Virtual Infrared COM Port for Windows 2000/XP) and set up theirda on com19 and create connection.

well this is very nice work you told us the method through can we transfer all the games which we played on our Samsung mobile and really i was also wanting to get some games i had never known the process that how to transfer them through the data cable or USB and thanks finally you told us here
