"Just downloaded, installed and got working on my Nokia 5800XM and N97 the updated ‘Skype for 3′ v2.0.40 application to allow you free skype calls and chat over the 3 Network"

let's hope someone will hack it to work with other operators

I was able to download but i cant open the file with WinZip

Same here, not a valid ZIP file! Then used a download manager and it worked...
For the rest of us:
It works not outside UK, Ireland, Italy, Danmark, and Sweden and without a '3' contract!

Does anybody know a version for WLAN?

Yes you can use up to 3000 mins/month free.

Works from Three Ireland with Pay as you go / Contract,
Also works in the abroad on 3 like home networks
eg.UK, Ireland, Italy, Austria, Denmark, and Sweden

Your mobile operater must be "3" eg "Hutchinson 3G"

I found that "Skype for 3′ v2.0.40" only worked with new firmware properly.
It also worked with old firmware with virtual keypad
