Record tracks of your trips anywhere on the Earth from your mobile device. Tracks are traced on Google Maps (or Google Earth) and stored in an online archive. All you need to start tracking is a mobile device with an internal or external GPS receiver.
Pin your photos to a map with one-click geotagging feature
Take photos while traveling and link them to a map precisely at a place they were taken. Attach taken photos to GPS tracks from Picasa and Flickr or map them with Take'n'Pin software on your local PC.
Let your friends see your instant position on a map when you are recording tracks with GPSed mobile application. Share GPS tracks and geotagged photos with friends via e-mail, IM or by posting them to social networks like Facebook, MySpace and Twitter.
The uploaded tracks are stored on the server and available for review and management from GPSed web service.

GPSed is fully compatible with mobile devices equipped with the internal GPS receivers. GPSed is also compatible with mobiles that can connect to the external GPS receiver via Bluetooth and with any GPS receivers (like Garmin GPS, TomTom GPS and others) that can record tracks in GPX, PLT, KML and other formats.
What have been changed?
Tracks could be exported now in GPX format (the most popular format for GPS tracks) right in GPSed application. This is also a new feature which was absent in the last versions of GPSed for J2ME phones. This was added in the track list menu as Export to GPX menu item.
A new option Keep backlight always on was added in Settings. This option is disabled by the default. Enable it and have a backlight always on. Could be useful for people who want to conduct current speed monitoring, check current coordinates, travel distance, etc during the trip
