Thread: N95 to N96

Is there any way to hack firmware for N95 8GB to N96? (ie FP1 to FP 2)

Would this be a cleaner and smoother OS?
The reason for this is my N95 8GB seems to bog down quite easily is there anything i can do other than formatting or overclocking?

well...no need for this. FP1 is nice and fast. and btw..N95 8GB is way better than N96

hi friend marius are u sure that the n95 8gb is better than 96...???

im not really certain if n95 is better than n96 because i am not exactly sure what the hardware differences are

but
the specs makes it look like n95 and n82 are better phones

google specs on both and you will see its not impressive
if n96 were better id be going crazy trying to get one
but i am more than happy waiting for some real development that we expect from nokia

only thing it has is 16 gig and is way more expensive
and an 8 gig micro sdhc is less than $40

id rather wait

plus i have read it has only 32mb ram available when no apps are open
i cant confirm this but maybe someone else can

has for n95 n96 for
1. the n95 have a graphic accelerator the n96 dose not

4. in terms of games the n95 rocks overal but in terms of storage n96:zzzz: with that only work eroupeon country as n77 died but:thumbdown:

5.overal if you want a perfect phone any one of this will do :met: (nokia n95-2 ,n95-3 n95-4) or nokia e90

let's not forget about the CPU dr adrian.
N96: ARM 9 dual CPU - 264 MHz
N95: ARM 11 dual CPU - 330 MHz

ya n96 does not hav 3d accelerometer also

Same, N95 has a 332mhz single core cpu i thought ;/

i cant send u like mnia coz its from nokia:D..but its on forum nokia and then devices. take a look at the N95(8GB)
