Patch By Wook to Replace Default Calender Plugin by Any Application

(This description is mine, if any fault remains its mine, not Wook's)

The following is an example of a patch designed by Wook (from SF) . This patch can be used with rompatcher to replace default calender plugin by an app called Handy Calender i.e. if you apply this patch using rompatcher and have active standby activated, then if you click on standby calender pluggin, it will open Handy Calender (or the app you choose) instead of Default Nokia Calender/Agenda.

Please note that the last 8 characters in this patch represent the UID of Handy Calendar written in little indian (litle endian).

Normal UID of Handy Calendar is

"20004ec1" which in little indian is written as "c14e0020"
(Did you notice that UID in little indian consists of the same 8 characters which are present in the normal UID, but the characters are written in reverse order and in pairs ?)

So, obviously if you know and can write the UID of any app in little indian (instead of Handy Calendar) in place of the last 8 characters in the Wook Patch, you can open that app from the active standby mode, Thanks To Wook.

Confirmed working on : FP1
Confirmed not working on : E65

Just in case, if you don't know how to convert the above code in a patch, you should copy that text in notepad or any text editor, then save with a ".rmp" extension. Copy it to E:\patches and then apply the patch in rompatcher.

P.S I know there is a a way to remove active standy by plugins e.g calendar, wifi but is there one for share 3.0?

This patch is actually for replacing the app that opens on default calendar plugin, not for removing the active standby plugin. Or Do you mean otherwise?

Yeah but didnt wook make a rpm that allowed you to hide the wlan, search etc? Was just curious as i dont like the share 3.0 thing but prefer share 3.0 over share 2.0
