How to translate .sis Progs

How to translate .sis Progs

This is a tut about how you can translate .sis Progs into other Languages. I personally wrote it.
So at first what youll need:
~ SISWare (im using [Only registered and activated users can see links. ], but newer should also work)
~ [Only registered and activated users can see links. ]

Ok, we will begin:

1. Step: Run SISWare -> click File -> Open Session. Open the prog you want to translate. In this tut im translating RotateMe to german.

2. Step: Click Tools -> Extract SIS File -> Extract All Files.

3. Step: Open RESEdit. Open the resource file of your prog.
Example:
I extracted the file "RotateMe.v1.5.Repacked.SAMET04106.unsigned.SI S". So the content of the sis is under *WORKSPACE*\bin\RotateMe.v1.5.Repacked.SAMET04106. unsigned. Now you need to find the main .rsc file. Mostly youll find this .rsc file under *myprog*\resource\apps\

4. Step: Simple translate the phrases to your wanted language.

5. Step Click File -> Save as... and replace the origin. Now go back to SISWare and change to Edit Mode. (Mode -> Edit Mode). Click the green arrow to build the new .sis File.

Done! You translated the prog!

Nice, but how to change LIMITED LENGHT.....???

example: EXIT(4 signs) in our language is IZHOD(5 signs)

Because you can not translate programs....and it's uselessness.

but what you mean by that? think of other words! and "Exit" is understood by nearly all people i think.

I mean that if there is no possibility to change this limited lenght of string, than you can not translate programs... beacuse in our language word are much longer than english :7ej: ; exit is just example...so you can understand what I was talking...
