C2Doom is the best Doom engine port for Nokia S60, S80 and S90 phones. It supports all Id Software WAD files and many unofficial. C2Doom has audio FX , music and even a Bluetooth multiplayer support.n 1993 a small software company released a shareware game that kick started the entire multi-billion dollar video game industry. That game of course was the legendary Doom from Id. Today, thanks to Markus Mertana’s game engine C2Doom, mobile phone users can re-live that seminal classic in all its blazing 3D glory.

It’s strange that after spearheading the FPS genre 15 years ago Doom is once again at the forefront of 3D gaming on another platform - your cell phone. Amazingly, for a nominal fee, one can download Markus Mertana’s C2Doom which will allow you to play a large number of Doom wads, which you also need to download and install. Some of the wads that work with C2doom are the entire original Doom, Doom II, Ultimate Doom, Doom64, Heretic, Hexen, Duke Nukem (1st Level), DoomGoldeneye, and Counterstrike. That provides you with a LOT of levels on your pocket communicator. Not that you’ll be communicating much, for once you load this baby up you’ll be lost in a world of Imps, Barons and Bull Demons for months!

This is no stripped down blast fest either. Everything is included from double-barreled shot guns to rocket launchers to the BFG, from cheat codes to a fantastic landscape mode to an indispensable keymapper. This game makes my Nokia N73 come alive with graphical splendor. Playing Doom64, originally released for the Nintendo 64 with upgraded visuals, C2doom’s graphics rival my Duel Intel PC. And this is with a smoothness of play and speed that is essential to survival in the corridors of Hell. While Heretic and Hexen remain somewhat pixilated as in the PC version, the Doom wads are remarkably sharp as witnessed by having a Bull Demon charge and chew at your face from two feet away. The Duke Nukem wad is as colorful and fun as ever. Unfortunately, I could only get it to play the opening level. Saving anywhere is also implemented and much appreciated in a cell phone game.
C2doom excels where so many other mobile phone games fall flat and that’s in its audio FX, music and Bluetooth multiplayer. With headphones connected, the hissing, snarling , screeching creatures, the metallic opening and closing of doors and the devastating shotgun blast go right to your bone. This is the only mobile game that can make me jump and the audio FX has everything to do with that. Mobile game developers will hopefully put more effort into their audio FX as lack of sound in a game is like a turkey without the gravy.C2doom can only be given my highest 5* recommendation. As far as mobile FPS go this is the pinnacle.Congratulations to John Carmack and the wad developers for creating a game that has stood the test of time, and thanks to Markus Mertana for enabling us to now carry around a pocketful of Hell Barons, Lost Souls and Cyberdemons for our slaying pleasure.

IDDQD
Puts you in the blissful "God Mode" and renders you invulnerable

to enemy attacks. Turn it off by typing IDDQD again.

IDCHOPPERS
Adds the chainsaw to your arsenal. Turn it off by typing

IDCHOPPERS again.

IDMYPOS
Gives you your position coordinates in hexadecimal (for the hex

enthusiast). Turn it off by typing IDMYPOS again.

IDBEHOLD
Gives you options for turning on invisibility ( I ) -

Invulnerability ( V ) - the computer map ( A )
Radiation suit ( R )
or the light amp goggles ( L ) You can also give yourself the

Berserk Pack(s) with this code. Simply follow the IDBEHOLD

command with the letter in parentheses for the desired powerup.

Turn it off by typing IDBEHOLD again.

IDKFA
Gives you all of the weapons and also all of the keys. Turn it

off by typing IDKFA again.

IDFA
Gives you all the weapons but none of the keys. Turn it off by

typing IDFA again.

IDCLEV
Lets you warp to any level in Doom. Type IDCLEV and then enter

the number of the episode you want (1,2, or 3)followed by the

number for the desired level. For example, typing IDCLEV23 starts

game play in the second episode, third level This works the same

in Doom2 but you just type in the level like IDCLEV03 would bring

you to level 3, etc... Turn it off by typing IDCLEV again.

IDSPISPOPD or IDCLIP
Doom only - Use this code to turn on the "No Clipping" mode,

where you are able to walk through walls. Type this a second time

to disable it. Turn it off by typing IDSPISPOPD or IDCLIP again. Enjoy

Hope doom will also find a way to emulate other hot games in pc like vice city,and other games that cools us and gives us a tremendous experience in gaming world!!!!!!!!!
