This astonishing new game gives you the control over the paddle in three different stages, Earth, Space and Mars, each with ten different levels. At each level your mission is to get rid off the balloons with the ball. There are nine power-ups that will help you succeeding this 30-levels journey:
- space ship: Move the ball as it would be a spaceship. During that time the paddle stays still.
- ball stopper: Prevents the ball from bouncing of the paddle.
- bomb: All of the balloons in the near vicinity of targeted balloon are destroyed.
- gun: Destroy two columns of the balloons at once with two rockets!
- fire ball: Ball does not bounce from the balloons, it just goes through and destroys'em!
- paddle changer: Surprise element! You can get small paddle, big paddle or reverse paddle.
- ball multiplier: Two balls. You have to watch only the main one (check the trail of it).

Tongue in cheek footie game that is thirsty work.
Coca Cola Soccer is a bit of a strange one. Its a football game (obviously) with power ups and a scoring system that doesn't just depend on the final score. I guess they are trying to appeal to footie fans who don't like playing Fifa and Pro Evo. The matches are not played on a conventional pitch but in a 5-a-side street soccer style cage with jumpers for goalposts. Whether intentional or not, the whole package has a very British feel.
The players are big and blocky and the animation is very basic. The memories from my Spectrum days came flooding back when I was playing this. While this may not be everybody's liking at least you wont be squinting at the screen.
