GBA Game Boy Advance demo [VBag]





This demo is made by third party other than Vampent. Vampent have tried some improvements with this demo. Note: it is only a demo. It is even not playable because of the low speed. It shows that some other groups have tried to make even greater emulators for symbian mobiles.
This demo also illustrates it is quite hard to emulate GBA with full speed in current Symbian hardware environment. However, it CAN emulate GBA with approximately 5 fps on normal S60.
Usage:
SIS package includes only .exe file, so you should use Fexplorer or browser to execute in E:\System\Apps\vBag\vbag.exe. You should put rom file in path E:\System\Apps\vBag\1.gba . Your mobile should have enough memory for loading rom.

What is the FPS on a 6630 as it is the fastest s60 phone available. Processor speed is double 6600. Not even the 6680 is faster as I have seen some benchmark results on my-symbian forums showing it is slower than 6630!

BTW is there any point trying to emulate this as its going to be very hard to play on a mobile keypad! I know I get sore fingers playing normal games on my 6630!

That is true . some games will be hard to play it.

The 6630 and 6680 have the same speed . 220 Mhz.

I hope they find a way to do this, it looks cool

can anybody get ane games because all the games at 8 mb dont work and i cant find any 4mb games

try breath of fire... but it is still very slow even with 9mb ram available...

ummm any gba game rated/marked at 32megabit (mbit) will be 4mb ,checking my list of roms i have for 32mbit .. there are over 2200 roms in this size :D

so ... in theory MOST should be fine
