i downloaded some zip games but i cant unzip them? m in xp it says file corrupted or invalid. what could b the problem??? i converted zip extension to sis n jar but still no luck????? what to do?

1. Rar files are compressed files for PC. The games that come in .rar format have to be extracted first on the PC side. After Extraction the file can be either Symbian installation file(.sis) or J2ME(.jar) file. Extraction can be done with the aid of popular software "WinRar".

2. This File is to be transferred to the phone. Now on the PC Side you need a software
One of the software is "Nokia PC Suite" which comes with the smartphone. If you don't have it then you can download it from Nokia Website.

3. Transfer of data from PC to mobile can be done is any of the following ways:

• Via Data Cable
• Via Card Reader
• Via Infrared
• Via Bluetooth

Here I would recommend "Data Cable" for small data transfer (e.g. Theme, Wallpaper,SIS game,JAR game) while "Card Reader" for bulk transfer (e.g. multiple music files). I don't use Bluetooth for transfer bcoz I don't have "bluetooth dongle" or "special bluetooth port". Besides Many people have complaint of bluetooth not been stable while transferring data from PC to Mobile Phone.

4. For N70, N72 mobile keep the .jar file or .sis file in E:\Nokia\Installs. Here E: drive is your memory card.

5. Now Go to Menu>>Tools>>Manager. After scanning of the memory is finished. You can browse to your file and install it. Preferably install them on Memory Card itself.

6. Optional Step: Open "FExplorer" or any other File Manager and delete the .sis file from E:\Nokia\Installs folder as this .sis file is now not needed. Keep a backup of this .sis file on your PC. The .jar files after installation are automatically Relocated in the System folder.
