Here are some cool astronomy applicatoins:
MobileStarChart 0.09, very nice java app. The app contains about 5000 stars in its database up to visible magnitude of stars - 6!! You can increase or decrease the number of stars by chosing the maximal magnitude which wil be shown. by the * and # keys. The app also has very usefull time mode (swiching between time mode and normal mode by central joystick key). In time mode you can see the movement of the star sky by chosen interval of time (minutes, hours, days, months) just by pressing a key! An thus you know haw the position of night sky will be after a two hours, or days for example.

MicroSky 3.1.2 , also very nice java app. Its disadvantage is that you should connect to the internet skyserver for the first time when you use the program to download the appropriate starmap for your location. After you connect to the server you can download appropriate database and to use the program in offline mode. But this advntage is also advantage because while you are connected to the server you can access a very large amount of data in real time: "With SkyServer you can arrange and request your personal view of the Starlit Sky as a Skyimage. There are 2.500.000 stars, 8.000 deep sky objects, the constellations, the planets, local horizon and registered comets available. With various functions and settings i.e. observer location, date, eyepiece etc. you can adjust the Skyimage to your individual needs.
With each request the Skyimage is calculated, drawn and returned in real time in the png display format. Skyimages can be bundled as animations in different ways. Just try it !"
