Thread: Is there an application for real voice dialing - record name per contact

I really get annoyed with the Speech to text engine voice dial - older Nokia phones had the option to record names and then dial them via voice dial.

Is there any application that takes over?

i'm surprised technology on phones hasn't advanced much in this respect. i had a samsung phone way back in the day (around 2002-2003) that did not require recording any names and the text to speech engine worked 97% of the time on the first try. it was amazing, too bad i can't remember the name of the company that dev'd the voice engine, would be interested to see if they made something for symbian.

this xm is good to voice dialling, the default calling is mobile phone on your contact. my experience is with less unrecognize voice error without any pre-recording name. this also activate any apps with voice instruction.

My Old Nokia 6111 had the option of recording the name for voice dial. I don't understand why N95 doesn't.
