VSH-Menu opens when you press SELECT in XMB (main menu of PSP) if you're running a CFW. There you can change the ISO Driver/Mode.
You use an .iso if you put an .iso file on your Memstick instead of playing the UMD :D.

i upgraded my old firmware with Custom Firmware 5.03GEN-A for ChickHEN...and after reboot my psp wont power up...and when i press R it turns on the LCD but still nothing happens

hi there,
i bought a new psp version 5.50,and i was wondering how to download and play games using mmc, i went to a store,and he told me that i can't do that for version 5.50,is that true?or is there a way to do that?i'm newbie still,hope u could help me there,thx.

It depends what do you want to do with your PSP. If you want to have a CFW on your PSP, then I would recommend an old PSP Phat (1000) or a PSP Slim & Lite (2000, but Datecode lower than 8C!!). If you don't want to have a CFW, I would recommend a PSP Brite (3000). But I would not recommend the PSP Go! at all.

Yes, that's true. If you have a newer PSP (2000 with Datecode 8C or higher, 3000), then you need the 5.03 FW to run a HEN... So unfortunately I guess it's true

I need some help with my PSP. I would like to hack my PSP but really need a visual demonstration. There is a very good and informative tutorial but reading through it just gets me all mixed up. I have looked until I am cross eyed but can not seem to find a tutorial that has pics or vids. That would be ideal for those like me.

Before i have psp 1000 with version 5.50 GEN D2 after upgrade to version 5.50 GEN D FULL and flash it back to original version 5.50. now i can not play download game or any application. How can i upgrade or downgrade without magic memory stick or pandora battery.
